Creating and publishing a panel
From creation to publication in a channel.
Creating
From Tickets → Panels, create a panel and give it a name. That name is internal: members never see it.
You can also duplicate an existing panel: the copy carries over its whole configuration (types, forms, categories, buttons, limits). It is not published: this is the fastest way to create a panel close to another one.
Opening style
- Buttons: each ticket type is a button. Readable up to five or six types.
- Dropdown: all the types in one list. Recommended beyond that.
The panel message
This is what members see. It includes:
- a text;
- an optional embed (title, description, colour, image, thumbnail, footer, author), off by default;
- the button: label, emoji, colour (blurple, grey, green, red);
- or the dropdown text if you chose that style.
Publishing
Pick a channel and publish. Bao posts the message there.
After that, any change to the panel updates the published message automatically. There is nothing to publish again.
If you publish again in another channel, the message is moved: there are never two identical panels in circulation.
Deleting
Deleting a panel erases its configuration. Tickets already open are not deleted: they carry on as normal.
The free plan allows 1 panel with 3 ticket types. Paid plans have no limit (beyond Discord's own cap of 25 entries per dropdown).
