AI support runs on credits. An agent reply costs about 14 credits on the standard model, which you can change at any time. The more documentation you feed it, the higher the consumption.

Can I change plan at any time?
Yes. Upgrades are immediate, downgrades take effect at the end of the period you paid for. Downgrading never deletes your data: your logs, tickets and messages stay in the database, only reading them is limited. Everything reappears intact when you resubscribe.
How many servers does a subscription cover?
Just one. It is paid by an account but assigned to a server, and transferable to another server once every 30 days.
What happens if my AI credits run out?
The AI agents stop until the next month; everything else in Bao carries on as normal. You can top up credits at any time, or move up a tier.
Does the trial commit me to anything?
No, there is no commitment: a payment card is all that is asked, and you cancel in one click from the dashboard. You get the whole of Bao Royal for 14 days, with 2,000 AI credits included.
Can I run Bao under my own name?
Yes, from Bao Royal onwards. You connect your own Discord application: the bot carries your name and avatar, and your members never see Bao.
Do you take a cut of the premium roles I sell?
No. Your members’ payments go through your own Stripe account: Bao grants and removes roles, but never stands between you and your money.
What if a payment fails?
You keep your plan for 3 days, long enough for your bank to answer the retries. No data is touched during that window.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Bao is a public bot: one click to add it, and everything is configured from the web dashboard. Even the MCP connector is hosted by us: pasting one link into your AI agent is enough.
